Well this week has been one to strain my patience.I will not understand why when businesses say they will cover the trophy fees and then when you go to collect, they give you a resounding "I am NOT interested at all now".TWO of them did that this year, the one for our class trophies and the one for our Show-N-Shine Trophies.I understand in business things do change, but,it sure would help with a little communication so it does not create a last minute scramble like Jetpilot and I are in now.We have about got it covered and I will now drop a update in quick before bed.
UPDATE!!!!!...Here ya go hot off the press today......
Class awards now will be provided by the "Geno's Garage" group and I would like to thank Robin,Robert and the entire group there for helping us out in a pinch when we needed it.
Torque Challenge Awards are being sponsored by "Old Chickies Hill Auto Transport" and our resident speed doctor Mr.MPH himself,Oasis-3.Thanks Cliff again for the help we certainly do appreciate it.
Show-N-Shine awards will be provided by "Renegade Diesel Performance" of Lancaster,PA.Those awards will be the following classes..Best Dodge,Best Ford,Best Chevy/GMC and Best Conversion.I would like to thank Scott for stepping in and filling one of the last minute vacancies and helping us out as it is certainly appreciated.
One award not talked about which I have secured is one for the Ford crowd. It has been noticed that we are finally having more Ford owners to come out and enjoy our shows and the fun that goes along with it.To show our appreciation we have added an award for the "Highest HP Ford" which is sponsored by "The Dieselsite".The Rileys have stepped in and allowed us to add this so we could show our appreciation of those Ford owners who have been growing in numbers. To be eligible for this award you must have a Ford vehicle, powered by a Ford Powerstroke(conversions allowed-example-Bronco/Van equipped with a Powerstroke or IDI),single charger and be on #2 alone. This will be the first award given solely to the Ford Contingent and may next year grow into a class separation for them.I am trying gang, show me you want this and next year will be bigger and better.
There was a question sent to me about camping on site and it is allowed. Please try and stay on top in the stone lot or along the edge so when the show is going on you have no one messing with your equipment.Another question was tent camping and that will also be allowed,HOWEVER,stay along the outside and please no open fires.
I will add a little more tomorrow as I find out who will be there vendor wise and who will not.I will also echo Greg and Jims requests with remember that we will still need food to cook even though the SP Diesel group is having a catered BBQ(THANKS GUYS!).I will drop in tomorrow with more.......Andy
