fass problem

installed a fass on my 99 today. have one small issue just seeing if anyone else has ran across this. the ecm is not sending voltage to the lift pump till after the truck has started wont even turn on if you bump the key. im leaning toward my ecm is half dead or retarded. only solution i have come up with is wire it to a key on hot like a 12 valve or replace the ecm. if i start the truck edge shows now fuel pressure for a sec or two about as long as oil pressure on a cold morning. has anyone else ran across this?

Cycle the key 3 times and see what happens. Some vp's won't start with pressure during cranking so wiring it hot might not be the best idea.
