Like the title says I just picked up a 91 D350 through a trade. I've had a hand full of CRs, i still have my 97, and I've had two p pump 24vs. So this is kind of different to me. To my basic knowledge this engine is basically a 12v with a rotary pump? The truck went through a complete restoration about a year ago, most of the body parts are new steel ( no fiberglass). All new interior as well.

Here are some pics, don't rip me apart on this. I kind of like it lowered because its different. The color is getting changed as I type this to hot rod black, cowl hood as well. Now as far as the 8" stack, it kind of fits the flow of the truck but I'm thinking of going down to a 6". I plan to just mainly use this truck as a toy. I already have a nice DD truck. So paint and black/machines wheels for now, nv4500 swap down the road and then start throwing parts under the hood. It's all stock, except for some light screw turning on the pump.

Any thoughts or advice is appreciated.

Sorry for the messed up pics I lost phone signal, and when it finally posted the pics were upside down.

I saw that truck on CL for a long time. It's far from my taste in style, but I'm glad it found a good home.

I take it it's O/D auto as of now?

Yea it's not my usual stock height, and 33's either but it's kinda growing on me. It's a 5spd truck, I've just heard the getrag 5 spds don't hold up well.

Where can I find such a hood? Lol

Getty's hold up just fine. 8xx on Stomp's truck, 500-700 between a few others.

Don't lug at low RPMs and overfill the trans by a quart. Make sure you use motor oil (10w-30 is spec).

The person rebuilding the trans has the most impact on how long it lasts.

I don't plan on that kind of power so, I'm probably safe then lol

Little bit of an up date. Rims on the way and the truck was tore down today for new paint. Trying to decide on the best set of air bags for the rear, I need something to make the ride a little softer. I know first gens are like ridding a log, but this one isn't bad. Being lowered it rides surprisingly good, just a good bump will jar ya pretty good. Pics to come of my progress! I'm ditching the 8" for a 6" stack, to avoid ending up on the "signs you might be a coal oraler" forum lol

Coil springs in the front, and basically flipping the axles and the rear springs. The bed has been tubbed, and the frame cut, notched and boxed in. It's a really clean set up. I can't remember with out looking what kind of shocks are on it. I'm also going with a shorter tire on the front once the new rims come in.

Were the coil springs cut or swapped? I've been considering a set of Pacbrake bags in place of the bumpstops in the rear of mine and lightening the spring pack.

I was offered a deal on another project I've been wanting. So it's for sale!
