First hook of the year.

Looking good.. I can't wait to get our 1st Gen back together.. (I've been saying that for a long time.. maybe soon..)

Nice to see a first gen out layin it down..what transmission you pullin with?
 
Thats the iron anchor sled MPA hooks it alot its not a bad sled just a little heavy on the pan right off the bat
 
Good looking hook! Hoping to get my p-pump fueling issues figured out so it will look like that.

Also good hook to you guys at the state fair. Did you guys get invited or did you just show up?? They tried diesel pickups there about 5-6 years ago, and only 3 came. Jerry Crow won. Hopefully next year they can get a class for them, as I think they'd draw a decent number of trucks.

It depends on Outlaw and if they put together a Diesel Truck Class. And it wasn't this first gen at the state fair.

That pile is always heavy. The track was greasy for the first ~100ft which made for limited traction. After that section track had a lot of bite and was causing issues for all classes at the end. There had been rain here the morning of the pull and the 3 days before so there was a lot of moisture in the soil and as the sun went down it get worse.
Curt's truck ran good. Like Weston said he had enough power but could have used some more tire.

I know it wasn't this first gen, was referring to Pickards post above.

Maybe they could do like what Platte City, MO does and just tack the trucks on at the end of the pull?
 
It depends, because Outlaw wants to do a class for their entire circuit. I know I'm going to try to get in touch with Wayne and see what they are looking for because if its like their other classes it may be more of a pro mod style class.
