haha so i did my first 1/8th mile pass tonight. felt real strong but i ended up running a 9.41 with a .56 reaction time (horrible). pretty fun though! having a 6 speed didnt help.. also a non boosted launch.. just reving up and riding it out..is this a decent time besides the reaction time?

64/71 , 150's and .093 lines and 25 * timing, didnt plan on setting any records but i figured it would have done a little better then a 9.4, then again it was my first pass ever, and first time really trying out the new set up
 
Dude, just hit up test and tunes and you'll get better every time. My wife races quick diesel now and her first pass ever that she made, the red light came on... oops lol

If you use your emergency brake you can use both feet to work that clutch and gas pedal for a boosted launch. Then pull the Ebrake lever on the 2nd bulb (think of it as a redneck transbrake) The above tip should be good for 2/10ths off the 60 or about 4/10ths off the 1/8th...... Can anyone say 8:99?

Kidding aside, you went out and did it and sounded like you had fun that is all that counts. A .56 is not that bad for your 1st pass with a 6 speed. Keep at it!
 
ive sorta tried that before but that valair single ceramic does not like to slip, time for a DD!
 
haha also i left on the green, didnt know you were supposed to leave on the second yellow!
