I have a 1996 Dodge Ram SLT with 194k miles, green, I'd like to sell before its insurance and tag need renewal. Ive had this truck for about 4 years and
10k miles. I bought it from a friend that needed some money...the tranny was burned up and he could not repair it. I drove it as it was until June when I had the transmission rebuilt locally. It was done well, but not billet.
I have replaced the interior (not the plastic): Headliner, carpet, visors, seats, etc. While the seats are not new, they are out of my other truck and in good condition. The dash is perfect, by the way.
Work on truck in last 6 months:
1-both battery cables were replaced on the drivers side
2-new carpet/headliner/visors
3-new tint
4-new rear end bearings, etc
5-tranny redone (not billet but done well)
6-valves run
7-new fuel filter
8-icebox air intake w/oiled filter
9-new serpentine belt
10-oil just changed 11/18
11-TPS
12-starter
13-power steering hose
It runs very well.
It is a bit ugly in the paint department, though. Original paint and its dead. Clear is peeling in some spots, too.
No rust and it has been a Florida truck its whole life.
