Front Hub spacers

I don't remember the year now.... Got a friend with a F-350 DRW, but he wants SRW, so at the front axle what or which company does he need to contact to lose the large hub and have the regular wheel ?
 
If it's a super duty (99+) iirc you just pull the spacer hub and replace bolts with wheel studs. Seems like that's what I did on mine but it's been awhile. The OBS stuff I don't recall.
 
Yeah if you pull them then the other wheels are 2.5" to far in, my friend wants me to machine 2" from those hub extensions and then weld them together missing that section so they are at that point the right offset. I really don't want to do all that work and then worry about a balance issue.
