selling my baby. bought a third gen so i can no longer justify keeping the "fun" truck. i love the truck but would rather pass it on to someone else who will enjoy it and love it as much as i have. i bought the truck when i got back from Iraq in 2004 bone stock. Since then have put ALOT of money and time into it turning it into what it is today. was a beta tester for Quadzilla so it has a few custom tunes for the truck that make the truck run great. the truck is very reliable and has alot of new parts. About 6 months ago i had a rearend vibration, pulled over checked things out and when pulling back into traffic BANG, sheared the teeth off the pinion gear. the shock load took out the tranny, tcase, and rearend so those are all new/rebuilt. i put a dana 80 to replace the 70, had the tranny rebuilt by a local performance builder and had the tcase rebuilt. the truck has 202000 miles and starts and runs beautifully. this is a completely rust free New Mexico truck. Never been wrecked or had any body work that i know of.

THE BAD:

A/C has a chafed through line, so no AC as of now.
Typical Dodge seat tear (pictured)
cracked windshield, useable but could use replacement.
couple of small dents, and chipped paint nothing major.
rear main seal leaks a little.
steering gearbox has slight leak.
passenger inner wheel seal leaks a little
driver door lock does not electrically lock but locks manually


THE GOOD

•2000 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins - Diesel Power Magazine
•542hp/1231torque on multiple dynos. Very consistent power
•13.1 quarter mile time, also very consistent.
•Brand new 47RE locally built tranny
•Rebuilt 241DLD transfer case
•Dana 80 rearendout of a 96 12 valve with 60,000 miles on it.
•3.54 Gearing (80 mph at 2000 rpm)
•Quadzilla Adrenaline with MANY custom tunes made by both quadzilla and myself for my truck
•Super PhatShaft 62 turbo from industrial injection
•100 horse DD injectors
•3 piece pulse exhaust manifold
•Scotty II Air intake with cowl hole
•full glacier diesel ½”fuel lines, from the pickup inside the tank to the VP-44
•Walbroinline pusher pump system with return (great pressure/very quiet)
•4 inch straight pipe with chrome tip
•Leveling kit in front blocks in back to make it truly level
•16 inch chrome rims 35 in Pro Comp Extreme Mud Terrains that are only a few months old
•Powerslot cryoed, slotted front rotors, Hawk pads
•3rdgen track bar conversion
•Aftermarket lengthened controlarms to retain factory caster
•Remote start, keyless entry and alarm with a timer for grid heater
•Ravelco anti-theft device
•newish injection pump maybe 30k on it
•20% tint all the way around
•Gets oil changed every 4500 miles with rotellasynthetic
•GooseneckHitch

thanks man. yea i know im going to miss it. my 3rd gen just doesnt have the same feel as this one did.. sure someone will enjoy the hell out of it.
 
just went from not needing to sell the truck to needing to sell the truck. im taking any offers! come on fellas....
