12V Cummins in my '03 F350. Planning to use the Ford HFCM(pump-heater-water separator) on frame rail. It's putting out 80-90psi through 3/8" lines. Can i just connect that to the lift pump? I want to do away with the Cummins heater-water separator that bolts on with the lift pump since my HFCM is already wired to the dash. Can I just remove that and replace a spacer behind the lift pump to keep cam tolerance? Steven.

I used a power stroke pump before just by pass the lift pump. You can use a chevy block off plate if I remember right.
