fule psi trouble???

have a 05 duramax. under stock power truck runs fine. but as soon as you add any power to it it runs out of fule and throws and code that says low fule pressure under power enrichment. with a edge with attitude on level one it does this. we thought it might be the chip so i put a small efi live tune on is about 20-30 hp and it does the same thing. truck has 108000 miles on it. changed the fule filter on it and didn't help. any ideas????
 
Yeah! Take it to the shop. Could be the rv, leaky injector/s, weak pump....
 
Is the fuel rail shimmed, if so plugg it, Lift pump? or the worst case Cp3. I know your pain on the fuel problem mine turned out to be the Cp3 as of now.
 
Shim the rail. Mine chokes on me sometimes but I've yet to mod it. I've also got 265,000 miles on mine now so I'm sure my CP3 is starting to show its age.
 
ppe race valve so you always have you stock valve to go back to takes about 30 minn to install
