So I just bought this Fummins from strawboss.

A little info:
2005 F250 Lariat 4WD
12 valve
5r110
Plenty of work done to the trans
Beans 64mm turbo
SDX 5x.012s
Timing bumped to 17

Truck runs and drives great... with that said it does have some issues when you put your foot down.. and in the mileage department.

I can throw my foot down and throughout any gear it won't surpass 20 lbs of boost, is it a boost leak or does it just need some valve springs and a GSK, and maybe a little bit of tuning??

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks bud! Isn't there some sort of boost leak uv stuff that doesn't hurt the turbo?? Shows up under a black light where it's leaking??

Nice score!
Just make ya a pipe that's the same size as the turbo air filter inlet, weld a cap on it with a shrader valve and use a regulator to put about 10 PSI on it, use soap and water around anywhere that could be a possible location for a boost leak. Like checking for a leak on a bike inner tube.

Welcome Kaiser glad to see you got the truck Nice truck by the way. But I am sad Strawboss got rid of her. He put alot of work into it.

I would check the boost reference line to the AFC and make sure it's hooked up.

I'm guessing boost leak and fuel pressure problem. Boost leaks are easy but this is what id do for fuel pressure.

Take the overflow valve out, gut it, and weld it shut. drill two .060 holes in it, then check fuel pressure, keep enlarging them until your in the range that you want. Super cheap super fast :D

Thanks for the suggestions guys, gonna check these things this weekend. I think I got the wrong pump, strawboss said it had an 11mm p pump on it. From my understanding is ya can't make any power with those. I'll throw some more pictures up later.

As promised here's a few more pics..

Started a different thread on the 11mm p pump issue as well...

It looks familiar, did it ever have a headache rack?

Not since its been in my possession, and thanks on the compliment young guns.

Plans for right now are fairly simple:

-A 12mm p pump
-Change the exhaust to a single 5"
-Clean up some bits of the conversion
-Basic power mods to the motor, maybe the basic ARP head studs.
-Then a few other odds and ends around the truck

PIcked up a 160 pump, gonna put some 4ks in it and down the road I'll do some delivery valves and have it benched.

Also had the right rear caliper explode today... so thats gotta get fixed now. Also I tried to get my PCS box to connect to my computer and the computer wouldn't acknowledge that it had a PCS box hooked up to it, I'm going to give destroked a call and ask them, maybe see if they cant send over some tunes while theyre at it.

This is dumb, but make sure the truck is running or the key is on. That stumped me for about 10 minutes when I went to plug in the first time on our 12-rail.

on edit: you also need to install the driver software for that adapter from the 7 pin to USB.

I installed the one that said "TCU software v2.9.0" and the connected the laptop to the box. I tried refreshing it and everything. But no cigar...

Hooked up the throttle pedal position sensor/kickdown cable and it made a pretty big difference. Stays in gear a lot longer and doesn't take as long for it to shift from 3-4.

Used a bicycle brake cable and swedged it on one end.
