Gearboxz tuner-high idle

Anyone had much experience with the gearboxz tuner. Installed one on a 10 ford for him with exhaust kit and now idles around 1,000 rpms. Tech support said bad egt sensor in dpf but the kit has you remove the dpf, so I guess I'm lost on what they mean. Any ideas?
 
I would have asked for a different tech person... Nothing says your an idea like asking to talk to someone else. LOL
 
Plug them in and just let them hang? The exhaust we have on it has no bungs because the instuctions said nothing about putting them back in there, but how the tech guy acted I wasnt sure weather to tap into the exhaust or letting them hang out plugged in would work as well?
 
Never heard of GearBoxz, but on their website, it appears they are still selling DPF delete tuners? How are they getting around the rules?
