4.56/4.3= 1.06

35/33=1.06

The wheel speed would be the same, but the 35" tire should hook better and probably give you a little faster track speed.

I've wondered this same thing a 305/70/16 is just as wide as 315/75/16 wouldn't the lighter rotating mass be better?

Lighter is better in drag racing. Traction trumps everything in sled pulling.

... if you have enough power to turn the tires! More power requires more traction. So yes, traction is the key! :rockwoot:

The 35" tire will give you a larger contact area than a 33" tire. See the "S" length in the picture compared to the dia of the tire, what equal's more traction.
