I have to go to Sacramento and drop the truck off pick up another one. I'll have more pictures on Thursday

Slick idea...I like it!!! Do you plan on using the jack to tilt the trailer long term?

not too shabby, we have a big deckover gooseneck and then a low-profile gooseneck, looks similar tot he one you built but no bumper hitch of course, the low profile on is the one i prefer to haul things with if they fit between the fenders!

I would put a pat. on that. That is a really good idea

Nice work for sure!

I do however question the legal issues you will find sooner or later.

.

Well if there is ever a accident involving the trailer and the fact the it has been modified I'm pretty sure the lawyers will be all over it. If the work was inspected and certified no big deal, but home built stuff is getting rare due to issues like this.

Awesome that you built it for use with a standard or gooseneck hitch!! Looks sweet!

What he said ^ In my shop I am VERY careful on what I weld or build.
My insurance rates are a prime example. Commercial truck runs about $6800
per year and NEVER a claim. It's the sue happy people and paid lie'ers that
amount to rates being as they are.

30 years ago there were about 100 companies selling insurance, now, there
are less than 10 nation wide and my costs were less than a grand for $1,000,000 coverage.

I feel your pain! I have a 26' that hardly moves!

My truck handles the trailer just fine but backing up it's really easy to oversteer
