Governor spring shafts bent?

I was installing a 4k gsk on my truck, got one side done and went to turn the motor over and the retainer caught the side of the pump as I was turning the motor over. I saw it stop as I was turning the motor immediately but now the shaft that holds the governor springs has play in it when I tightened the retainer and I don't think it did before. Should I just take the pump off and send it to a shop to not risk any further damage? Thanks in advance.

I had a friend years ago have this happen but he left the inner seat in from the factory springs and stacked the new seat on top of it. In his case when it contacted the housing and broke loose the tapered gov assembly from the pump cam. I'm like Jeremy I would definitely get it checked out. Chris at relentless helped my buddy out.

happens fairly often when people install the retainers or seats upside down

needs a new gov assembly. I would take it to a reputable pump shop
