Hamilton 12V Head

I have a new hamilton 12v head that has been ported and polished by them. It has the large valves in it and 165# beehive springs. The intake has been milled off. Looking to get 4500 shipped

I thought the larger valves required the dual Springs

Depends on the definition of "Large valves" The valves Hamilton sells, has on their website, and this head is designed for, they refer to as "Large valves for 12 valve" because they are larger than a stock valve. They are as big as you can go in a std 5.9 bore. They can be used with single springs.
