Hard start

If the truck sits over 30 min. I have to bump the key three times or more times. Letting the lift pump cycle. Then the truck will start. I just changed my airdog fuel filters and installed a vp44. This has been going on for over a month now.

Now if I jumper my airdog let it run for a while and then try to start it. It won't start. I have to bump the key over three or more times to get it to start

What does it do if you turn the ignition on and wait until the grid heater lamp goes out? Not that its needing the grid heater, but had a truck that wouldn't recrank warm without waiting for the heater to cycle.

Ended up being the ecm, or pcm can't remember the exact term it was called.

Being you said you tested straight wiring the lift pump already.
