Hey guys, we're gonna put a CON FE clutch in a buddies 06 Dodge.
I was looking on SouthBend's site and it says HD Hydraulic assembly required.
What's up with that?
Another guy has the same clutch with the stock hyd assembly and it's fine.

Why do they say it's required?

Thanks guys.

P.S. I'll post a vid of why it's smoked in a few. (Dang snow drifts)

FWIW, I ran his dual disk in my '99 without upgrading to the 97 slave cylinder that was recommended. I never had a problem with it.

How much can these clutches hold?
I see the O is rated at350/750
OFE is 450/1000
FE is 550/1100

How much can they really hold though? This is going on a hard working, snow plowing etc 06 that will probably get a box in the future, but no crazy hp.
The truck has 35's on it.

I think Peter rates his clutches correctly. I don't see a problem if you use his guidelines. He can also build a custom setup based on your needs.
