S Snoracerx New member May 29, 2013 #2 I didn't use a tap I just cleaned the holes put with brake clean and then a blow gun I installed the studs dry a d only used the ultra torque lube on top where the nuts are Sent from my iPhone

G Geeray199 New member Jun 28, 2013 #5 I didn't use a bottom tap on my 6.0 either. I just cleaned the threads well and threaded the studs in by hand and then lossened them a 1/4 turn.
