HEAT!?

In my 2008 6.4 company truck the heat only works at certain times. It seems like it works only between the time its cold until it warms up then I have no heat. Truck is compltly stock and nothing done to it. Anybody got any ideas on this before I take it to our maintenance superintendent.
 
Well I know but I have to drive it back to indiana sunday and thats a cold ride so was thinking it might be something simple.
 
the 08-10 super duties have blend door issues :(

that was one thing I was hoping to escape when I jumped ship from the Dodges FML
