Can anyone tell me what these are? I recently purchased a 2003 Ford Excursion with a '97 Cummins and 5R110 transmission. I'm pulling out the transmission and going with a ZF6. The guy I got it from claimed he had the transmission "built" to hold 800hp, but I've found out alot of what he claimed doesn't match up.

I'm not familiar at all with diesel automatics, but the torque converter and flywheel look newer. Does anyone know what brand the converter is? Is this a "billet" flexplate? Is there anyway to tell if this is a triple disc/whatever converter?

The converter is stamped with 5R110W and then 972.

The flywheel looks like it's a machined piece, and is stamped 1235.

Thanks, Eric

Revmax paints their converters red. Might give them a call. Flexplate looks to be a quality piece. Looks too stout to be stock.
