Help!injector problem???

I have an 04 starts fine but misses bad when it warms up it almost goes away.whats got me puzzled there's no haze and no fuel in oil. Could it be injector or lift pump?truck is bone stock. Please help thanks!!

start with your basics.

fuel filter, and how low do you run your tank? you might have picked up some trash if you ran it too low...... secondary filtration? if you dont have it... i reccomend it... all it takes is one bad tank of fuel for a very bad day...

no haze, or fuel in oil rules out injectors to some extent.. whats not to say that they have excessive return tho.. only way to find out it to test them.. but honestly i doubt your problem is injector related...

DTC codes? you have any? that would be my next step...
 
Chitty fuel? If you use the same station to get fuel try another one for a while
 
Thanks guys I changed the fuel filter after it started happening,thought I got bad fuel but didn't help I want to put an air dog on it but if I have to buy injectors I can't do both and no dtc codes. A buddy told me to do the paperclip test and they all seemed fine.
 
Take a paperclip and touch both terminals on injector when you come to the bad injector it will not change the idle. Not the best probably but it will tell if the solenoid is working? Could it be the lift pump
 
Well. That's one way to cause...I mean diagnose a bad injector.

Please don't ever do the paper clip test again to your engine. And slap whoever told you that for me.
 
How long does it miss? Is it only a short period? Hard start? Grid heater cycling?
 
Idle is real bad when cold gets a lot better when it warms up but it starts right up grid heater cycles fine.it sat outside for 4 days not plugged in in 20-30 degrees fired right up
