I bought the truck and from a bank with no turbo, exhaust, clutch and a few odds and ends. So i get all that stuff put on including a fass 150/150 truck starts up and runs fine, take it down the road it isn't building any boost and it dies on me. Check the codes and it was throwing a waste gate pressure sensor code. The guy that had it before me had cut the plug that was on the harness side of the plug and just conected those two wire together and the plug that comes of the sensor that is on the compressor housing is just hanging there.
My buddy hooked the truck up to his snap -on scanner to day and recorded a little data if that is what you want to call it.
Acctual fuel press was 7,xxx
Set fuel press was 5,xxx
Then as the truck got to about 140-150 degrees the set pressure started to drop and when it go to about 2,500 psi it started to idle rough started with smoking then at about 2,200 psi it died. So if you have any ideas on that it would be greatly appriceated and with i get the truck home i will call and you can walk me through a few things on getting the smarty to load. Anyone have any ideas?
