Anyone on here installed a HID conversion kit on there trucks. Ive got both the headlights and the fog lights done, and im having some problems. When i switch them on, its like they pull so much power they shut the truck off. For the most part i have to turn them on before i start the truck. I know this isnt right. And would like to make it right. Just curious to see if anyone has had experience with them. Any info helps.

wow..your voltage must be real low to cut your truck off..I would check your batteries and alternator..something is wrong..

Batteries are just over a year old, and alternator is 1 week old. Just wondering if anyone has installed these kits. And if im the only one having this problem.

thats what I am saying..I have HID in my heads and fogs and have never had an issue like that..

I just saw this thread. HID lights take 60,000 volts to light and 85 volts to maintain.
