i ran my best of 14.7 at 108 mph, 3.4 60 ft time, i had spooling issues, im changing the 66 out for a super b and 475 setup, what kind of difference am i looking at, i know my 60ft time will be alot better, just wondering if this setup will pull on the top end like the 66 did

you need to get that 60ft down big time!!! why is it so soft coming out of the hole? AFC too loose? converter too tight?

tight converter and high elevation, im hoping with the super b as the small turbo i wont have this issue, i like how it drives with the tight converter so dont really want to change that, i spent many days messing with the afc trying to get it to spool at the line and still nothing

Your leaving a lot on the table at the 60ft.. my 2wd dually will do 2.3-2.1 60fts w/ load range es on the back.. What are you doing to try and build boost up?

HA ha...I ran a 10.28 in the 1/8th at almost 83mph with a 2.8 60ft...nitrous has since solved my spooling issues ;)

Ha ha, yea....first pass I spun all the way through the traps in the 1/8th :Cheer:

Let about 20 cars with slicks go down the track and did a little better. I have faith that it's gonna fly once I get it hooked up and spray it.

I'm taking the 66 off and going to try a set of twins using a super b as the small turbo for spool up

12.40's-50's should be easy if you get into the 1.6's...just look at sig

EDIT: dont look at my sig, i changed it :D I went 12.44@107.5

thats doing quite well. kinda weird i've trapped 108 and only been 12.44 and with a quicker 60 then you....must be loosing it somewhere.

I thought my 2.6 60' was bad. (13.5@108)

I'm hoping this auto will knock of some ET at the beams and in between gears.

Exactly where I thought you'd be...

108 is right in that 12.3-12.5 range..

Glad its better for ya.

With the smaller 5x13s I ran the following to give you a comparison. I am near sea level though which makes a huge diff.

1.858 60
7.988 1/8 @ 88.07
12.477 1/4 @ 108.61

Launching with boost is super important so either: 1) change to a looser converter; or 2) hope that super b and 475 setup allows you to launch at 20psi or more. Good luck!

p.s. I would think the super b and 475 would be the best all around setup but if you can wait another two weeks the spool flange should get that 66 going easily for you. Just another option.

I was running 35s and had about 400lbs worth of tools and chains in the toolbox, and if I launched any harder it would Jus spin all 4 , looks like its time for suspension mods better tires and more fuel and air, goin for 10s next spring
