How accurate is dyno information?

What I'm trying to find out is this.....My truck is an 04 305/555 it is rated at 305 Hp @ 2900 RPM and 555 Torque @ 1400 RPM.
When I ran a base line my truck did 272 Hp @ 2900 RPM and 500 Torque @ 2200 RPM.

Why is max H.P. on the dyno at the correct RPM but the Torque is 800 RPM off?

Are Dyno runs only usefull for Max numbers? Dyno runs were done in O.D. with the converter locked.

I don't know if the torque management will kick in with it locked up in OD or not, but that would be my best guess. One of those little things DC does that really screws with performance junkies

Drag that thing to the TS event......you'll have a better Idea after a few runs on the Dyno as well as the track.
