HP Increase on White 2-85

Im looking for some beginner mods and how to's on getting a little more out of my White 2-85. It has a Perkins 354 with CAV/DPA fuel pump. Non turbo. I believe this tractor has a potential for power but I'm not sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can fit in a 5.9 cummins. It has been done and some of the later model whites came with them white 140 I think. I am not fond of the 354 perkins we had two 2-105's and when you try to do much with them they don't have much of a sense of humor. The cav rotary pumps don't really have that much potential. I think that your money would be much better spent in the long run by swapping, then look at what you can do. All the mods available for the cummins 5.9.
