Hydraulic pump mounting orientation

In the process of a full hydro steer for the sled pulling truck. I have the Concentric 12vdc pump from Northern Tool. Was looking to see if anyone knew if it could be mounted both horizontally or vertically. Due to space confinement’s vertically would be better for me but didn’t know if it would starve the pump or not. Thanks.

Most likely not vertical.. mount in bed and run the lines from there.. our mount out front between truck and weight box..
