Found this attached to the pan magnet in a 48re, thoughts?

There for the front band, adjustment nut and servo arm.

hmm, last time the guy had it serviced they said they adjusted the bands lol, its been in there for 50,000kms.....

There is a 2nd gear or at least it feels like it, but a real bad 2-3 hunt...
I should of took a picture of the metal on the magnet as well, about 1/2 inch of it.

Amazing that it still shifted at all! Order a new front band and heavy duty anchor and strut.
Yes you have to drop the tranny to fix it only if you have to replace the band!

I would say either the band broke or they adj it way loose or super tight by the pic. Is the strut bent I cant tell? Id order a HD strut and anchor at least they are inexpensive if the band isnt broke.

Billet strut, anchor, and 4.2 apply lever while your in there.
