i thought it would be cool to see what kind of tractors everyone has and what you think is the greatest tractor of all time. i have a 1979 4240 with 11000hrs on it. it had the original seat in it up to 10000, and the best part is that it has never been apart or the enegine worked on. its used every year to work wheat ground along side our front wheel assist, and dig and thrash peanuts. in my oppion its the most efficinte tractor built.

we got 2 - 1965 4020's one with 720 bucket, used for feeding cattle and cutting grass in the pasture...I second that being a very efficient tractor and for all around use at the farm. can't beat 'em$.02

we have a couple of tractors out here on the farm the jd's are 4450 4960 and a 4230 ford new holland are the little ford and the big ford dont ask for #'s i cant remember them off the top of my head both mfwd also a cat challanger 65 and a small cabless massey and a small cabless case

3010 Gasser and 4300 Hydro compact with loader.

I want a 730 Diesel with a wide front end.

(1) 4010

(2) 4020s, a '65 and a '69 - Deere could not build enough of these if they would build them again. Best tractor hands down. Both Turboed, both 10K+ hours, bought new. Both used to pull 6 bottom plows, back in the day. 1 even pulled a 12 row planter for a year, cause they said it could not be done.

I need to take a picture of the barns...we're up to about 120 antiques now, 'bout time for another sale:D

Mostly Orange, but we've got a couple of every color. We like the oddball models...high crops, single front wheels, LPG's, etc.

not in a big rush, still redoing the cab in it still

i have had a 9n, 1941 JD B, Jd 790(compact), JD 4320, IH 674, JD 4430, JD 3020, JD 8630
all diesels except the 9n and the B
i am sure i am missing a few lol. Really liked the 8630 but my most reliable was probably my 3020, every time i used it i ran the heck out of it and it just kept on chugging, loud cab, low power but always pulled through.
have sold them all looking for a 6420 or 7210 and a 4020 :}

That's a negative on the M&W's. They're custom setup's from the maestro, I believe 4430 manifold with 4630 charger on the 69(it's also a console/PS) and I'm not sure about the second but probably very similar.

Buck, I'm a little upset that you didn't mention the Moline, I am family and when you got me it came with. There's a couple 3020's runnin around too..

I have a few deere's that work on our farm JD 730 diesel wide front 2750mfwd 4240,4440,7420,8100,8410,8530,9520,9620, two 4995:ft: , and a 4890. a few more tings but can rember right now.
