I have a 2nd gen that use to be and auto and was converted to a 5 speed and there is that big cupholder in the middle of the dash i can't use anymore. in the standard 5 speeds there is a cubby hole where u can put things in place of that cup holders does that cup holder just held in by screws and i can find a cubby hole to put in its place or would i have to get a new dash. Anybody have any ideas
 
I would but I haven't seen a housing to put in that spot lol. I might see what i can do to make one though. Good idea. Thanks
 
here you go, took a piece of sheet metal and bent it in there

damn lol. I would have mine below that. I have a 98 so i have the 2nd gen dash just like the 24vs my cup holders aren't there they are in the middle of the dash
 
Yes the cup holder is removable and a cubby hole piece does just screw in. I have replaced then in a couple trucks before. Try a junk yard or eBay. Good luck.

Thats exactly what i needed. Thank ya very much. $75 bucks for that thing though lol. Good god. I'm gonna try my best for a junkyard find.
