im thinking about getting a fully built tranny from goerend but i hear alot about the billet Intermediate Shafts breaking and the stock ones being ok. i was wondering what you guys though about it. i want to put a s362/s475 twin setup on my truck with all supporting mods. i will be useing thins truck as a pavment pownder, drag racing as well as run what you brung sledpulling events(local county fair stuff) and driving it almost everyday till i get another truck. so what are your opinions!!!!!!:thankyou2:

A new stock intermediate shaft seems to be the recommended way to go.

Billet in, billet out, and stock intermediate.:rockwoot:

I have broken 2 billett intermediate shafts and not one new oem shaft to date. I broke my 2 shafts at 25 to 30 psi launches. I have done 40 psi plus launches with the oem shaft.

I broke my stock intermediate Feb 7,2010. Had a bilet input and stock everything else.

I would either put an OPIE Billet intermediate or just a new stock one... other billet intermediates don't have a good reputation.
