International 260 series A backhoe

Anyone know much about these? There one local here for sale for $2,000 OBO. Looks to be in decent shape. Not sure of the year. Just says it needs batteries. Any input helps.

What decade 60s, 70s?? how many hours? How much work do you plan to do with it? Most old IH s I would leave them sit.

Im not for sure. My dad went and looked at it. I was just curious if anyone on here knew much on them. If they were good units or junk.

Well, any IH that old has it quirks, I wouldn't go as far as to call them junk. But I certaintly dont bleed IH red!!lol

I worked on a 460Backhoe maybe a 1965? It had alot of iron in it, thats fo sure.
