Is a lift needed?

Right now im running 285/75/16 i also have a 2.5 leveling kit and the tires seem small...can i fit 315/75/16 (34.8") or do i need A lift kit?

I have the 34 in nitto terras and they rub slightly. I believe you might have to go with a small lift. Im not sure though as I dont have a leveling kit. I have the FX4 package though.

I did the "X" spring trick on the front of mine (springs out of a 450) and I cleared 35"s with touch of fender trim at the bottom. My truck is heavy too 8500+ cruisin weight, so a lighter truck might have more room.

if you dont mind alittle scrub then youll be fine..I run 35x12.50s with no lift at all and have minor rubbing..33s just look to small
