Is my nv4500 screwed?

Instead of the Castrol Syntorq in the trans. I refilled with Royal Purple 75-90w with gl-4 rating. Is this going to kill the trans?
 
Have you visited rp site? Sounds okay, Seems like the 5600 needs different fluid. My 4500 has amsoil, works in most trannys, 75-90 gl-4. Has been great.

Yeah I visited their site. Thats where I got the idea of what to put in. From what I understand, as long as the rating is 75/90 and gl-4 i should be fine. I had a buddy put the fear in me though. Said the trans is gonna thrash with the RP in it.....
 
i ran rp in my old trans... i wont run anything other than the mopar oil you get from dodge.
