jetta chips.

i was wandering because i have heard that putting chips on these cars makes them less reliable.
 
also wandering about turbos have you all had experiences about blowing head gaskets by putting bigger turbos or plunging waste gate.
 
Year of car? I have a malone tune with a q-loader on my 06 and no side effects other than more power.

I had this on my 00' golf. It only tricks the injection pump into adding more fuel, and if turned up very high will cause a rough idle. I would check out rocketchips, i hear they are on of the favorites. A real chip will not only alter fueling but should take into account timing changes and other aspects of performance.

As far as real world mpg and power gains, just check out tdiclub . com. I'm sure they will have lots of input from users of various chip manufacturers.
