I did that with my Junker Drag Truck when it was a peg leg, I think it took all of 250-260 HP to kill one 285/75/16 AT. I actually had a purpose, I was trying to make a homemade slick. I then had to rotate just the rear tires so I could work on the other tire.

Glad you did that on a closed course, wouldn't want you to be liable for a smoke-screen car accident.
