I've been messing around with my EFI tuning today and went for a test drive and had bad surging at full throttle. So I let off as soon as it started and on came the engine light and the truck got loud under the hood. Best description I can give is it sounded like a damn noisy a$s powerstroke. So I stopped and got out and there was smoke coming out of the blow bye tube, oh chit again I said. Idled her back to the house, about a mile down my gravel road. Checked the engine light code and it was the fuel rail sensor, so I opened the hood and the plug for the fuel rail harness had come un-plugged from where it plugs into the top pump on my ATS duals. Plugged that back in and the truck is back to normal, but oh man did I about chit a brick for a moment.
