just picked up 13 jetta

So with 3 payments left on our 06 jetta tdi a 16 yo driver that had her license for 3 hours decided to turn in front of my wife and accept a T-boning at 40 mph. They ended up totaling are car. To look at it I was surprised. That car annihilated that minivan though.

So today we went to just test drive a new jetta and it ended up coming home with us. 2013 Jetta TDI 6 speed manual premium w/o nav. Not fond of the sliver color but it was the only one available locally and after my wife saw what all it had she said who cares. The 140 hp is awesome compared to the 100 hp the 06 had.

Congrats on the new addition. I know I love my 2011 TDI! It's the DSG, but still gets 40 mpg.

No sport wagon! my insurance is taking care of me. the only way it would have been faster is if I started the claim the next day, but I waited almost 4 days to see what their insurance company was going to say, which was a big FU. I just got the papers to sign and mail back and ill get my check here this week hopefully.

I will say the banks have really good rates. I got 1.84% for 72 months, now I wont talk me that long to pay it off. I took it for the fact Im going to need a roof on my house next year and not having a car payment was going to cover that. now its back to the drawing board.

I've had my 13 jetta since June ran bout 3500 miles on it no issues at all average about 42mpg just as the sticker states

I love our '12 Jetta TDI and haven't had a problem with it since we picked it up. Very nice upgrade over the '06 we have as well with the extra 40hp. I'm thinking in the future of trading the '06 in on another CR TDI of some kind.
