Hey guys I have a customer with a 01 bone stock auto truck when it is cold it is a real snail to get moving from an intersection once it gets rolling and you push it the truck will take off fine I checked the flap in the exhaust its free and open no codes everything seems to check out ok from what I can see EBP reads normal map works fine turbo works fine only thing I can think of is maby the convertor once the truck warms up it is not nearly as bad any advice would be great I am a Cummins guy sorry!!

Thats normal... The EBPV will open and close until the engine get to normal operating temperature. It will cause the truck to be sluggish when your light on the throttle.

Like you said, once you get going it loosens up and seems fine. Once a certain amount of pressure is built up the EBPV opens back up and lets the air flow like normal (hence why when you get on it it seems fine). But it will close again to help build heat when at idle or when your light on the go peddle.
