In the wake of the EPA's seemed vigor to screw with us, and the police in many areas cracking down on the sweet haze of unburnt diesel.
With all that can be done with electronics, I am just curious if it has ever occured to come up with a "less than stock" tune.
Obviously power would be down, but by lowering duration and increasing timing, couldn't you cleanup the smoke from big injectors so the trucks could actually be more "enviornmentally" friendly?
Obviously this would create even more lag for the big turbo guys, but it would burn more in the chamber and should reduce smoke to a more acceptable level.
Am I losing my mind in thinking it might be a useful feature for some to have?
