Limp Mode..... 6-speed hand shaker ?

Is it possible to put a Manual trans, 5.9, 3rd Gen into limp mode? I thought that was reserved for Automatics.

If it's common (possible) what would cause limp mode in this configuration of truck.

aftermarket turbo can cause the P0299 code and put the manual into limp mode

Without throwing names out there, Add rail pressure and fuel with no boost fooling and 49psi of :st: and BOOM!!!! limp truck*bdh* and code po299 and stupid ecm defuels. That box is off my truck and i need something else.
