What diameter are the stock lines and tubes on a 24V from Cummins. .078 or .084?

Lines are .078. Tubes are smaller. I know they are smaller cause I had a set drilled out to .078 and they were huge compared to an unmodified tube.

Not sure how to word this but, is there a reason the tube is smaller than the line? I mean I'm running .078 ppump conversion lines/stock tubes and was wondering if the tubes should match... Im curious if theres an optimal pressure that the injector should be seeing, and how to achieve said pressure.

Also running .093 lines/stock tubes on my brothers truck and wonder if there would be any gain (not power) in dropping to a smaller line.

As in, the plunger lift timing would be more accurate at the injector? Im mainly thinking about injection quality. if that makes sense.

Possibly more duration. Line fills quicker, injector pops sooner, line stays filled longer, more fuel gets delivered.
