LLY blew turbo up and need a new one

hey guys
got a buddy that has a lly and blew his turbo up!! any toughts on what to put back on it?? truck is stock with a ehx and chip not looking for anything to wild.

does he want a vgt turbo agian or conventional style ?

If he wants a vgt go with a 64 mm danville or a "baby" fleece .

Conventional go with a gt4088 or somthing like that

All depends on what he want to do with the truck .

thanks he is trying to go cheap and wants to put a stock from a 2006 on there that he found for 350$$ will that work??
