Lly Ecm & Efi Live

Hey guys i have heard that the LLY ecm are made by a different manufactuer than the LBZ ecm's ( lbz is a bosch ecm i think ) is this true. I also heard something like the LLY ECM is easier to tune with EFI live is that true?

I just wondering cause im looking to get a dmax definatly gonna geta LLY or a LBZ. I just wanted to know which one is better.

Yes they have different ecm's between an 04.5-05 LLY and 06 & newer LLY, LBZ, LMM's. Either engine is good and can for the most part do the same with efi live. 06+ engines are stronger out of the factory though.

LBZ is Bosch, LLY is Delphi maybe ?? I wouldn't think either one would be better to tune. wether it's easier I don't know, someone else does my tuning.
The o6+ engines being stronger than the LLY is marketing hype. the only thing stronger is the rods; pistons on o6+ arent near as good. For a performance build I would take an LLY over my LBZ any day
