Loctiting VE pump seal? or other theories

Ones of my buddies on here has blown out the front seal on his truck. I dunno where the post about it is tho.


I red loctited my pump. It see's 26psi-30psi and I havent had a problem yet
 
Mine is retained, there id a thread on 1stgen.org about it, there is enough "meat"
