looking at a 2005 duramax

Hey, right now i drive a 2008 f250 diesel, soon selling it to get a cheaper truck with no payment for me. Great.

Now im looking at a 2005 durmax with 170,000 miles on her, what all do i need to look for.

My dad drives a 2005 durmax but it only has aabout 100,000 miles on it, pretty easy life too.

Blow by, rough idle (could just be a fuel press regulator), wiring harness rub by alternator. Other than that its a regular diesel.

Yea not much to go wrong. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one w/ 170 on her if it looked taken care of

it looks clean from the pics i seen, found one with 130,000 onl the clock for not much more.

If my ford sells i may just buy the newer one i found and have a small payment.

Still havent decided on a small car yet, I know im will be buying a mid-size car.

I really feel cramped in a small car, my wifes lancer would do fine adn get her a new one just keep hers, but for some reason it just kills my knees rideing in it.

Guess im a wuzz. lol
