map went bad on lloyd- plus something happened and pcm lost down loaded tunes....... wasnt a great weekend for the truck but it didnt get towed home

Wish i had gotten to stay longer, but still had a good time anyways.

Nice to see so many 1st gens.

Thanx Dave for helping me fix the turbo inlet seal.

Need to find a 4-wheel dyno to baseline the Jeep...

Brad

were there placques or trophies this year?

Joel,

Only for the charity shoot-out.

Spring Fling is always just a run-what-ya-brung fun event. Fall Brawl is where we have classes and trophies.

There was a reccomendation made while in the dyno bay to allow a +100HP addition for DockBoy being able to drive his truck OUT of the bay. However,it was over ruled by the dyno bay committee due to a technicality brought on by the oil leak which resembled the one from the EXXON Valdez.

..........Andy

Well........

I found the oil leak.....split in the bottom turbo oil drain hose.

And on another note.....After looking at my datalogs of the runs trying to figure out why my boost was so low, I discovered that the primary charger was losing boost just as it was getting going. Come to find out when I hooked up the wastegate solenoid control lines the last time I had them off, I had the top and bottom gate wires reversed. Basically the bottom gate was opening just as it started to spool. So who knows.....maybe there is a little more there:hehe:

glad it was an easy fix Greg...............

So what your saying is............ the messed up wires saved ANOTHER BLOCK!!!!

hahahahahahahhahaa

You did leave quite a bit of oil behind (in the dyno bay), and I'm surprised that little screamin' demon Detroit didn't mark its territory while in there too (lol).

Of course Lloyd's truck has issues but your numbers being fuel only are impressive to say the least, the next highest number was over 75 hp behind! (Not to discredit anyone..) The nitrous numbers are good for bragging rights or a short blitz down the track, but big fuel only numbers is where it's at.

Yeah- Gregs truck puts some power down- i dont mind coming in second to that truck.

and nitrous is a cheap little hp adder(under $400 for my kit)- i'm more interested in fuel only
- but when your injectors are maxed out and your smoke free by 20 psi nitrous is the next option

Greg- what size nozzles you running?

Flux 6.2's

Greg your twins really quiet the motor down, it was the quiestest run of the day i think, very impressive

Thanks TJ:Cheer:

I believe it has alot to do with having the proper size piping!! Bigger isn't always better:poke:

LOL I didn't notice you and I in the background Joel

No problem on the jet:Cheer:
