Made a new bumper today...

Started with an F450 bumper...did some cutting...

Then I did some welding....and test fitting

Then I primered it and put it on the truck....simple. LOL

It's just primered ground steel right now...it was waaayyyyyy too hot for bodywork today.

I have gotten 4 or 5 warnings for no front license plate on my truck in Texas. Doesn't look like you will have a plate either. Looks good though.

I've got a collection of warnings...no tickets though. I haven't had a front plate on any of my vehicles...ever.

I never have run a front plate on my truck. My Dad's jag and vette don't either. He has been pulled over once in the vette by a very bored cop on an island. Other then that, never had a problem with it.. I really wish they'd get rid of that law.. I hate front plates..

In Florida we don't have front plates unless you are registered for 30k. I did have a cop give me crap once in Houston for not having a registration sticker on the windshield which Florida does not require.

Yeah, cops that do that to out of state travelers need to get fired for something as simple as that. I know it's petty but they are going out of their way to harass over a license plate that you don't need in another state, but would in the state your passing though is beyond stupid.

Tennessee doesn't require front plates either... I had the mounting holes filled in the front bumper on our Tahoe before we moved out here a few years ago...
