I just bought a used set of gauges(egt, boost, fuel press). Its a mechanical fuel pressure gauge and they're all setting in a pillar mount pod. I've read that all mechanical fuel pressure gauges are to be mounted outside cab, whats better to do, buy electric gauge or could i get away with using some quality line to the gauge?

You can mount a mech gauge in the cab just run a needle valve and a isolator or just a needle valve that way you can cut down on the pulsing from the vp, shut the gauge off if the line breaks.

Where's the best place to get the parts? What kind of line should be used? What fitting and where to tap into fuel pressure for best results? I apologize for the 20 questions, lol.

These are the two pieces that I used.
Fuel Big-line kit from filter to Inj pump / with adapter drilled for 1/8npt line to isolator.
Isolator to pressure gauge in cab. Only runs anti-freeze in line in cab, no fuel.

Check Pure Diesels website for additional parts needed to complete the install.
